What does VEMRO actually do?
We help businesses run more smoothly. First we look at how work really gets done — enquiries, quotes, scheduling, admin — and find where time is lost. Then we fix it: redesigning the process, connecting your systems, automating repetitive tasks or building a better website. You can use one service or several.
Do we need to know what we want automated?
No. Most people come to us knowing something feels slow or messy, not what the fix is. Working that out is our job — it's what the free business audit and the discovery stage are for.
Can you improve our existing systems?
Usually, yes. We'd rather make the tools you already pay for work properly than replace them. If something genuinely needs replacing, we'll explain why and what it would involve.
Do you build websites?
Yes. We design and build responsive business websites and landing pages, with enquiry forms and booking that connect into the rest of your systems — so a website enquiry becomes a record and a follow-up, not just an email.
Do you work with small businesses?
Yes. VEMRO is set up for small and growing businesses — owner-managed firms, trades and service providers, property and maintenance teams, and professional services. Projects are sized to what's worth doing.
Can different software systems be connected?
Often, yes. Many business tools can share information through built-in integrations or automation platforms. Some older or closed systems are harder to connect; we'll check what's possible for yours before recommending anything.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes. We can monitor what we've built, fix issues, make refinements and review how things are working with you regularly. Support is optional and agreed separately.
What types of businesses do you work with?
Small and growing businesses with real operational work: service and trades businesses, property and maintenance, agencies, professional services and admin-heavy local firms.
What processes can you automate?
Repetitive, rule-based work: enquiry handling, follow-ups, quotes and invoices, bookings, client onboarding, task creation, reminders and reporting. If a person follows the same steps every time, it's usually a candidate.
Do I need to purchase new software?
Not usually. We start with what you already use. If a new tool would genuinely help, we'll explain the cost and the alternatives before you decide.
How long does an automation project take?
It depends on scope. A single focused workflow is far quicker than connecting several systems. You'll get a realistic timeline in writing before any work starts.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on the scope, so we don't publish fixed prices. After the free business audit, you'll get a written proposal with the scope, deliverables and price — agreed before any work starts.
What happens during the free business audit?
It's a 20-minute call booked through Calendly. You talk us through one process that frustrates you. We ask questions, then tell you honestly what could improve — and whether it's worth doing at all.
Do we have to commit to anything?
No. The audit is free and there's no obligation. Paid work only begins if you accept a written proposal.
